Why Outbound Yoga Retreat as Wellness Initiative:

Don’t let Instagram intimidate you, yoga is much more than painful looking postures and movements,
It is a holistic approach to physical and mental health, as well as a person’s well-being and personal growth. Home Yogis’ Home’s Outbound Yoga Workshop extend this concept into working peacefully amid a hectic corporate environment.
An international report by the World Health Organization (Source: Corporatewellness.com) reveals that depression is the number 2 disabling illness of the corporate sector, number 1 to cardio-vascular diseases, most of them being attributed to stress.
The long sitting hours, bad sitting postures, confinement to desk, tough city commute, unhealthy-untimely meals, sedentary lifestyle, ruthless competition makes the workforce highly stressed, despaired and inefficient.
In practical sense, there’s a little that one can do about this external environment. Yoga, on the other hand, can do a lot in equipping the workforce to deal with everyday stress in an efficient way.
The reason why Outbound Yoga Workshops are more efficient than any other wellness programs is- the very crux of the Yogic discipline is a mind-body balance.
Outbound Yoga Workshops not only increase flexibility, strength, balance, concentration and breath capacity while reducing stress and anxiety; but also boost morale and interpersonal communication. In other words, no more dirty politics and bickering at work place but well-functioning, cohesive team, therefore, increasing overall effectiveness in the workplace.

• The workshop not only provides an answer to this question but also equips the participants with the solution to eliminate it from the root.
• This answer and solution is provided by a yogic approach which draws from its sister branch- the Ayurveda and finds resonance in modern psychology and neuro science.
